Objectives and Set-up

There are two main objectives for the projects

  1. To invest in the education of secondary school students in less-developed countries; and
  2. To evaluate whether by doing so in a twinned-school structure can lead to a self-sustaining higher level of the educational platform.

This project has been supported by funds provided by a private Foundation, based in Switzerland, with the mission to invest in small-scale directly funded projects centered on the health and education of girls and women in less-developed countries.

It was conceived, developed and implemented in 2019 by two individuals Dr. Alan Brooks and Dr. John Marshall

Following discussions with development professionals in a number of countries, most of whom agreed that there was a reasonable chance the project could succeed, two countries were chosen, Ecuador and Uganda. Each was then adopted by a professional, in Ecuador by Dr. Patricio Romero and in Uganda by Dr. Emmanuel Mugisha, both agreed to act as the anchor.
