Overall concept
The Twin Schools Project was established in 2018 to evaluate the potential for a time-limited and moderate (in development terms) investment to build a self-sustaining structure that provides an enhanced educational platform in less developed countries.
Education, particularly secondary level and importantly for both female and male students is widely recognised as one of the key drivers in raining the overall level of ldcs.
The concept behind the Twin Schools Project is to establish a two-way link between schools of different academic standard in a culturally similar environment such that the better resourced school provides ongoing support to the less-well-resourced school which in time helps replace the external funding.
